Drug & Alcohol Testing

Occupational Medicine Associates employs only certified collectors to perform testing for pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable-suspicion situations. Collectors are certified and trained on proper protocols on a routine basis, and male and female collectors are available for observed collections when necessary. Our collectors and laboratory meet the standards established by SAMHSA.

Continued education and training is required for all collectors, and laboratory testing is expanded as new substances of abuse are identified.

Lab tests available

• 5 Panel DOT (urine)

• 5 to 12 Panel Non-DOT (urine)

• Hair follicle testing

• In-house breath alcohol — instant result, with confirmation

• 80-hour urine alcohol (send-out lab result)

• Blood testing

• Oral fluid drug testing

• Testing for specific additional substances on request

Our director is certified by the Medical Review Officer Certification Council and AAMRO, and is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).
